Nowadays, educational challenges are global, and, in the training field, it is a priority to overturn the visions of knowledge to seek shared horizons. In terms of the composition of the school population, the school presents itself as a multi-ethnic and multicultural reality. The reference is both to the multiplicity of citizenships compared to the Italian one in the different scholastic contexts, and to a plurality of cultural models, which manifest themselves in orientations and behaviors. Consequently, we need to ask ourselves to provide more concrete answers to challenges that are now inherent to the education and training system itself. This contribution reflects these problems and, in particular, focuses its attention on the possibility provided by enabling technologies to determine an enrichment of basic vocabulary and lexical mastery, useful for communicative, relational and educational exchange, in a multilingual and inclusive perspective.

Abstract
