The purpose of this review is to illustrate one of the research topics highlighted by developmental psychologists in the last thirty years: Ethnic socialization practices. Specifically, we tried to outline a picture of what is indicated with this term and the main knowledge on the subject. The review presents the two main research strands that have dealt with identifying, on the one hand, socialization messages correlates and predictors and, on the other hand, developmental outcomes associated with them. We finally presented research studies methods and limits.

Abstract
The purpose of this review is to illustrate one of the research topics highlighted by developmental psychologists in the last thirty years: Ethnic socialization practices. Specifically, we tried to outline a picture of what is indicated with this term and the main knowledge on the subject. The review presents the two main research strands that have dealt with identifying, on the one hand, socialization messages correlates and predictors and, on the other hand, developmental outcomes associated with them. We finally presented research studies methods and limits.File in questo prodotto:
