A nickel-modified glassy carbon electrode was investigated. The nickel deposit was characterized by electrochemical techniques, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The described electrode was tested as detector in liquid chromatography and flow-injection analysis and showed a promising combination of background current stability, catalytic activity, detection limits and reproducibility for the determination of carbohydrates in real samples.

Abstract
A nickel-modified glassy carbon electrode was investigated. The nickel deposit was characterized by electrochemical techniques, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. The described electrode was tested as detector in liquid chromatography and flow-injection analysis and showed a promising combination of background current stability, catalytic activity, detection limits and reproducibility for the determination of carbohydrates in real samples.File in questo prodotto:
