This paper investigates waveform synthesis for target tracking in a multistatic radar operating in colored Gaussian interference. The waveform design at each tracking frame is formulated as the minimization of the trace of the Posterior Cramér Rao Lower Bound (PCRLB), subject to power budget requirements and a similarity constraints. To address this challenging optimization problem, an efficient approximation solution technique is proposed to enhance tracking accuracy over reference codes. Specifically, the original problem is approximated via Taylor series expansion, yielding a tractable problem that are efficiently solved using a customized block Majorization-Minimization (block-MM) algorithm. Simulation results demonstrate improved target state estimation accuracy and robust tracking performance under target state uncertainty.
