Abstract
Tourism associated with geological and natural features, as well as historical, cultural, and folkloric ones, represents an opportunity for both local and wider territorial development. There are various types of tourists, different in terms of moti- vation and expectations. In general, the main tourist attraction is represented by particular, suggestive, and characteristic landscapes, which may include various types of content. In multicultural contexts, the geo aspect can act as a connecting thread, accompanying the tourist along a path full of experiences and suggestions. This paper presents the experience of the geo-itinerary of Muro Lucano (Potenza province, Basilicata region, Southern Italy). In this suggestive village, the coexistence of historical, cultural, naturalistic, and geological contexts allows for a multidisciplinary tourist offer.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
