This paper concerns the Dirichlet problem associated with the linear equilibrium theory of thermoelasticity with microtemperatures. Using an indirect boundary integral method, we express the solution of the boundary problem under study in terms of a single-layer thermoelastic potential. The representation obtained differs from that found in the literature, which is expressed by a double-layer thermoelastic potential. Our approach is based on the theory of reducible operators and the theory of differential forms.

Abstract
This paper concerns the Dirichlet problem associated with the linear equilibrium theory of thermoelasticity with microtemperatures. Using an indirect boundary integral method, we express the solution of the boundary problem under study in terms of a single-layer thermoelastic potential. The representation obtained differs from that found in the literature, which is expressed by a double-layer thermoelastic potential. Our approach is based on the theory of reducible operators and the theory of differential forms.File in questo prodotto:
