Abstract

In light of recent climate and environmental emergencies, architecture is re-evaluating its tools to contribute to resilience through adaptivity. Digitalisation and emerging technologies, as parametric and generative tools, enable projects to respond to ever-changing conditions by simulating real-time scenarios. This change also affects architectural language, introducing new relationships between form, behaviour, and data. Contemporary architecture, shaped by automation and the management of complex data, becomes multi-scalar and multi-material, fostering a renewed dialogue between design, the environment, and its users.
