Il pragmatismo italiano come "teoria corridoio". Per una riconfigurazione interculturale della storia della filosofia

In this article I propose an analysis of Italian pragmatism from an intercultural perspective, shedding light on some moments of its reception (Croce, Gramsci, Garin) and enhancing the metaphor, used by Giovanni Papini, of pragmatism as «corridor-theory». On this basis, I want to show that it is plausible to speak of a «transcultural hermeneutics» of Italian pragmatism, since projectuality is inherent in this theoretical movement, that is, a dimension of analysis and understanding of cultures that is not limited to the recording of typologies.
