Knowing and enhancing a work of modern architecture was the intention behind the entire project process for the Municipal House in Montescaglioso. The methods, tools, and technologies used, such as confrontation with the designers of the work, historical archive research, photogrammetric survey, redesigning, and 3D modeling, made it possible to identify the main differences between the original project idea and the actual state. The elaborated design experimentation respects the founding intention of the designers and proposes a critical revision of the current forms of the building and a redesign of the spaces that make up the square as a “House of the Arts”, thus consolidating a collective work of the Modern in creative continuity for the city and the community.

Abstract
Knowing and enhancing a work of modern architecture was the intention behind the entire project process for the Municipal House in Montescaglioso. The methods, tools, and technologies used, such as confrontation with the designers of the work, historical archive research, photogrammetric survey, redesigning, and 3D modeling, made it possible to identify the main differences between the original project idea and the actual state. The elaborated design experimentation respects the founding intention of the designers and proposes a critical revision of the current forms of the building and a redesign of the spaces that make up the square as a “House of the Arts”, thus consolidating a collective work of the Modern in creative continuity for the city and the community.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
