Abstract
The eTwinning Initial Teachers Education (ITE) initiative aims to make eTwinning a tool to introduce a different way of doing school, through the use of new technologies, communication in a foreign language, learning in a collaborative context. and multicultural. The eTwinning project in initial teacher education can provide an useful support to promote a collaborative learning dimension, where students develop aspects of communication, conversation, flexibility and sharing of perspectives within a space of dialogue and listening both real and virtual (Boffo, 2015). This work proposes a reflection on the educational potential of eTwinning activities in digital and soft skills (Gulbay, 2018), especially as regards some dimensions common to the two areas, such as creativity, critical ability, communication, collaboration and it describes the phases of the ITE project “Enjoy… STEM!”. ETwinning planning introduced a training methodology that involved students of the degree course in Primary Education of the Catholic University of Milan and of the University of Basilicata in shared planning experiences, with a view to internationalization, on innovative teaching methodologies, such as the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodology, the Situated Learning Episodes method (Rivoltella, 2013) and the CLIL method with Eas (Leone, Luzzini, 2016).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
