We introduce the notion of ^-projection in order to extend to d0-algebras the concept of Kalmbach measurable elements with respect to an outer measure. We prove, in case the outer measure is faithful, that Kalmbach measurable ^-projections are quasi-central, thus generalizing a result known for orthomodular lattices, and recently extended to D-lattices.
