Abstract

Thinking pair share and psychological well-being in learning contexts Traditional psycho-pedagogical practice, which is limited to the mere transmission of information, cannot cope with the problems of building knowledge. It is necessary to look for appropriate psycho-pedagogical approaches, to build and share relevant conceptual knowledge, in a shared and collaborative perspective. Think-Pair-Share (TPS) is a collaborative learning strategy in which pupils work together, to decipher a problem or to counter a question, on an assigned task. This technique requires thinking first individually and then sharing ideas and discussing a response with a colleague, focusing attention among peers. The sector literature has shown that thinking pair share activities work as learning tools for teams or individuals and provide the necessary skills to analyze various problems, taking into account the psychological, sociological and cultural components of human behavior. The interventions organized in time table generate relational echo, which favors the desire to experiment on the field the sharing of ideas, rather than listening only to the narration of the teacher, who is invited to revitalize the enactive dimension of the students.
