Abstract
The Industrial Revolution brought a radical transformation in production processes: materials and technological solutions were tested and transferred from the industry to the construction site. This European trend was reflected also in the Italian industries, coming by a growing nationalist spirit and protectionist policies implemented by the government. In this climate of renewed faith for the defense of Italianness and its products, it is once again the intelligence of industries to generate the most prestigious innovations in architecture; in fact, memory of the generous artisan tradition, the glass becomes an essential component in building systems, also as a structural element.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
