Indagini distruttive e non distruttive su edifici in c.a. esistenti secondo l’OPCM 3274/3431: evidenze sperimentali e significatività dei risultati

During last year, according to the OPCM 3274/3431 (2003/2005) and according to Regional Guidelines based on the OPCM, many seismic vulnerability assessments of strategic building was been performed in Italy (Programma Temporale delle Verifiche del patrimonio edilizio strategico e rilevante, OPCM 3362/2004). The paper shows a comparison between two sets of concrete strengths evaluated during two different assessment campaigns. The two assessment campaigns was been performed on two existing buildings designed and built during the 70's. Number and type of destructive and non destructive tests, performed to assess the in situ mechanical characteristics of the concrete, was been defined according to the chapter 11 of the OPCM 3274/3431 and according to the methodology suggested by the Regional Guidelines of Basilicata. The critical analysis of the results suggests some considerations relevant to the performance of destructive and non destructive tests and shows the insufficient effectiveness of the limitations and suggestions reported in the OPCM 3274/3431 and in the Regional Guidelines.
