In this paper I discuss some of the textual problems of Xenophon's Hiero. I propose new solutions at Hier. 1. 11, 1. 13, 2. 1, 2. 17, 7. 3, 7. 11, 10. 5. I also point out that good corrections made at Hier. 2. 12 (by O. Schmidt), 6. 2 (by A. M. Salvini) and 7. 3 (by J. J. Hartman) have been until now unjustly neglected by the editors.
