The Muses, who have not a significant role in Virgil's Bucolics of Virgil, appear to be important in certain passages (ecl. 6, 13, ecl. 8, 62-63; ecl. 10, 70-72, partly ecl. 9, 32-36) marked by the dialogue of the poet with Cornelius Gallus' elegy, as it is proved by formal and conceptual similarities between these passages and the verses by Qaṣr Ibrîm.

Abstract
The Muses, who have not a significant role in Virgil's Bucolics of Virgil, appear to be important in certain passages (ecl. 6, 13, ecl. 8, 62-63; ecl. 10, 70-72, partly ecl. 9, 32-36) marked by the dialogue of the poet with Cornelius Gallus' elegy, as it is proved by formal and conceptual similarities between these passages and the verses by Qaṣr Ibrîm.File in questo prodotto:
