The chapter analyses the real estate sector in the metropolitan area of Naples, with particular reference to the housing needs of immigrant flows. The study evidences the dramatic fragmentation of the real estate assets and the lack of comfortable housing for immigrants that can also cause tensions between immigrants and local people. The shortness of houses to rent is also shown, due also to the high proportion of local inhabitants who live in rented houses, with respect to other Italian cities. The study offers a description of the housing condition in the different zones that form the metropolitan area.
