The changes in heterogeneity over time and the hierarchical relations existing between a range of spatial scales, studied in a previous work, provided the knowledge and data base for integrated planning at the local scale. The congruity of the proposed planning scenario to more general landscape rules was verified, thus confirming the validity of a planning approach based on a landscape ecological analysis, and aimed at the harmonisation of both human requirements and environmental conservation.

Abstract
The changes in heterogeneity over time and the hierarchical relations existing between a range of spatial scales, studied in a previous work, provided the knowledge and data base for integrated planning at the local scale. The congruity of the proposed planning scenario to more general landscape rules was verified, thus confirming the validity of a planning approach based on a landscape ecological analysis, and aimed at the harmonisation of both human requirements and environmental conservation.File in questo prodotto:
