This paper presents the analytical framework of a new computer code (ADT) developed assuming visco-elasto-plastic pile-soil interfaces to model pile behaviour during high strain dynamic tests. The attention is focussed on the parameters which define the model and on their evaluation via the back-analyas of the results of pile dynamic tests. Some examples are presented to show the reliability of the computer code to simulate these tests and some considerations are offered to support the use of high strain dynamic tests as an alternative to the classical, more expensive static axial load tests.

Abstract
This paper presents the analytical framework of a new computer code (ADT) developed assuming visco-elasto-plastic pile-soil interfaces to model pile behaviour during high strain dynamic tests. The attention is focussed on the parameters which define the model and on their evaluation via the back-analyas of the results of pile dynamic tests. Some examples are presented to show the reliability of the computer code to simulate these tests and some considerations are offered to support the use of high strain dynamic tests as an alternative to the classical, more expensive static axial load tests.File in questo prodotto:
