In a polycrisis context, this paper investigates the possible implications on the urban regeneration both biophilic hypothesis and proximity/community welfare. The main objective is to understand the potential offered by the cultural challenge which brings together two of the objectives of the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development: sustainable cities and communities (SDGs 11), good health and well-being (SDGs 3). In particular, it proposes a vision for the urban and social regeneration of a small inland town in Basilicata, southern Italy.
