Seismic risk assessment is a key concept in preserving existing constructions following calamitous events such as earthquakes. Moreover, it involves overlapping analyses from a multicriteria viewpoint considering not only seismic risk but also its interaction with landslide, hydraulic and structural risk. The level of depth at which these assessments are conducted is important as well, calibrated according to the level of detail to be achieved and the type of context to be analysed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to collect different approaches present to date in the literature related to multilevel seismic risk assessment methods in order to compare them and to discuss their applicability to real case studies.

Abstract
Seismic risk assessment is a key concept in preserving existing constructions following calamitous events such as earthquakes. Moreover, it involves overlapping analyses from a multicriteria viewpoint considering not only seismic risk but also its interaction with landslide, hydraulic and structural risk. The level of depth at which these assessments are conducted is important as well, calibrated according to the level of detail to be achieved and the type of context to be analysed. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to collect different approaches present to date in the literature related to multilevel seismic risk assessment methods in order to compare them and to discuss their applicability to real case studies.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
