This chapter explores alternative exhibition strategies for architectural and urban design work. Initiated at the XVII Venice Architecture Biennale (2020–2021), the project evolved through online panels, video installations, and site-specific performances. Utilizing actor-network theory (ANT) and time studies, it challenges modern dichotomies and fosters sensitivity to the temporalities of human and non-human interactions. The project incorporates theatrical elements to bridge the gap between actors and spectators, culminating in the establishment of the first Non-Humans’ Embassy. This initiative aims to enhance the agency of non-human entities, creating platforms for their representation and dialogue and transforming conventional spaces into dynamic environments that enrich our understanding of urban transformations.

Abstract
This chapter explores alternative exhibition strategies for architectural and urban design work. Initiated at the XVII Venice Architecture Biennale (2020–2021), the project evolved through online panels, video installations, and site-specific performances. Utilizing actor-network theory (ANT) and time studies, it challenges modern dichotomies and fosters sensitivity to the temporalities of human and non-human interactions. The project incorporates theatrical elements to bridge the gap between actors and spectators, culminating in the establishment of the first Non-Humans’ Embassy. This initiative aims to enhance the agency of non-human entities, creating platforms for their representation and dialogue and transforming conventional spaces into dynamic environments that enrich our understanding of urban transformations.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
