The paper reports on an international teaching experience between the University of Basilicata and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Starting from the academic year 2016-2017 in the teaching of Materials in the master's degree in architecture, an innovative group work method has been initiated with the provision of audiovisual films on the theme of the key role of materials in architectural design, both in interventions in the recovery and restoration of the architectural heritage and in the sustainable design of architecture. The working methodology used consisted of theoretical lectures relating on the chemical composition, microstructural characteristics and technological properties of materials, and seminars with the presence of a lecturer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia on the functions and forms of building components in the architecture. The presence of a foreign teacher with a complementary and synergistic vision to the basic knowledge imparted in the course of Materials has allowed the achievement of the educational objectives according to the Dublino descriptors (knowledge and understanding, applying knowledge and understanding; judgment autonomy, communication skills, learning skills).

Abstract
The presence of a foreign teacher with a complementary and synergistic vision to the basic knowledge imparted in the course of Materials has allowed the achievement of the educational objectives according to the Dublino descriptors (knowledge and understanding, applying knowledge and understanding; judgment autonomy, communication skills, learning skills).File | Dimensione | Formato | |
