In this paper results obtained from monotonic nonlinear static analyses performed on Reinforced Concrete (RC) structural components are shown. Bond-slip phenomenon between steel longitudinal bars and surrounding concrete is also taken into account in order to predict the numerical response under lateral actions of the RC structural components investigated. The study is addressed, through parametric models and Monte Carlo simulations, to propose preliminary fragility curves for different damage states of the RC columns, including materials inherent uncertainties. Finally, the paper concludes comparing the proposed fragility curves with other similar ones published in the literature.

Abstract
In this paper results obtained from monotonic nonlinear static analyses performed on Reinforced Concrete (RC) structural components are shown. Bond-slip phenomenon between steel longitudinal bars and surrounding concrete is also taken into account in order to predict the numerical response under lateral actions of the RC structural components investigated. The study is addressed, through parametric models and Monte Carlo simulations, to propose preliminary fragility curves for different damage states of the RC columns, including materials inherent uncertainties. Finally, the paper concludes comparing the proposed fragility curves with other similar ones published in the literature.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
