La Batalla de Carabobo narrada por Renny Ottolina

A partir de las principales aportaciones del análisis del discurso (Van Dijk 2008, Bolívar 1996, entre otros), este trabajo se propone analizar la transmisión especial, con motivo de la celebración del aniversario, de la Batalla de Carabobo de Renny Ottolina, presentador y figura mediática venezolana, “Conociendo mejor a Venezuela para quererla más”, serie de programas instructivos que motivaba a los venezolanos a tener más conocimientos de su historia y geografía. El objetivo es recorrer paso a paso el “guion” elaborado por Renny desde Caracas hasta el campo de la batalla de Carabobo a través del uso del lenguaje y discurso audiovisual. Siguiendo el rastro de la historia se incluyen aspectos didácticos velados de un sano entretenimiento (música, poesía, paisajes, pinturas) que acercan y facilitan la comprensión. Starting from the main contibutions of the analysis of discourse (Van Dijk 2008, Bolívar 1996, among the others), the present work is meant to analyse the special communication, because of the celebration of the anniversary of the Battle of Carobobo of Renny Ottolina, a venezuelan presenter and media person, “Knowing better Venezuela to love it more”, a series of educational programmes that motivated venezuelan people to know more about their history and geography. The goal is to go through - step by step - the “list of points” elaborated by Ren-ny from Caracas to Carabobo battlefield through the use of language and the audiovisual discourse. Following the trace of history, there can be included veiled didactic perspectives of a good entertainment (music, poetry, landscapes, painting) that get closer and simplifies the comprehension.
