Making a school really inclusive in today’s socio-cultural context is a challenge, but also a duty and an opportunity. An invitation for school managers to move from the more traditional concept of integration to the broader one of inclusion, opening their horizon to new objectives and new “diversities”. Therefore the Headmaster must assume and exercise strong inclusive leadership, addressed indiscriminately to all pupils with their various and diversified Special Educational Needs in the anthropological and ecological perspective of the ICF of «different functioning». Giving voice and dignity to all «differences», inspired by the value of social justice, even before school, is the most important challenge at the time of Covid 19, which, through the use of educational technologies, has found new ground for experimentation of educational research and social innovation.
Rendere una scuola realmente inclusiva nel contesto so- cioculturale contemporaneo è una sfida, ma anche un dovere e un’opportunità. È un invito per i Dirigenti Scolastici a passare dal concetto di integrazione più tradizionale a quello più ampio di in- clusione, aprendo il proprio orizzonte a nuovi obiettivi e nuove “di- versità”. Il Dirigente Scolastico deve, quindi, assumere ed esercitare in modo competente, una solida leadership inclusiva, rivolta indi- stintamente a tutti gli alunni con i loro vari e diversificati Bisogni Educativi Speciali nell’ottica antropologica ed ecologica dell’ICF di “funzionamento differente”. Dare voce e dignità a tutte le “dif- ferenze”, ispirandosi al valore di giustizia sociale, ancor prima che scolastica, è la sfida più importante al tempo del Covid 19, che, at- traverso l’utilizzo delle tecnologie didattiche, ha trovato un nuovo terreno di sperimentazione per la ricerca pedagogica e l’innovazione sociale.
