Abstract

This thesis work deals with problems arising from the phenomenological studies of photodegradation process of pesticides. Methods adopted in our laboratory are described. Organic liquid phase as reaction environment has been considered. A solar simulator apparatus (Suntest CPS+, Heraeus), furnished of a Xenon lamp, and a Pyrex reactor, equipped with a high pressure UV-Hg lamp, have been used for pesticide irradiation experiments. Preliminary results about photo-degradation process of two sulfonylurea herbicides have been presented.
