From year to year, in Italy the attention on landraces is increasing. In Basilicata region, traditional varieties of common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) occupy diverse ecological patches where they still grow well adapting themselves. These landraces have nutritional and qualitative special characteristics. Three ‘Majonica’ common wheat accessions were grown in three different environmental sites. A-PAGE seed proteins polymorphism on a random sample spikes in each sites was detected. ‘Majonica’ studied accessions were heterogeneous with diverse genetic structure.
