Abstract

Phd thesis is focused on bio-politics one of the theme of the contemporary reflection, a semantic marker and a oscillating mean which allows to examine the present. The conceptual and critic field of the term around the couple bios and politics is most often used to describe phenomenon of the contemporary world which life is involved in the power dynamics. M. Foucault’s thought has influenced deeply the current debate but there is another ways of analysis. New scientific disciveries cause a new semantic process for the word bio-politics. Men can rule over life due to biotechnologies and post-genome science, this can be considered a disquieting possibility of a new bio-power device which not only manages indirectly human life, but it permits the subjection of the mankind.
