Dimensión social y cultural de las palabras comodín en Venezuela

In the present chapter, we will examine the lexicon changes that we have when a word acquires new meanings. The general words or “palabras comodín” are useful for many things and they do not mean just what they recall, but they also imply a strong emotional charge. They are recurring in the spoken language, and the thing that we want to highlight is their presence and use in the venezuelan spoken language. In fact, we will try to understand the main general words thanks to the contribution of the Dictionary of Venezuenalisms and the Real Academia Española de la Lengua (DRAE) Dictionary.
