Materials and Architecture: Limits and Possibilities

The work is part of an international and multidisciplinary research and didactic activity. It consists of a series of informative videos in English, which have as their subject the basic knowledge of the microstructure of the materials, the technological properties, the production processes, the behavior in different exposure environments. The educational-training objective is to highlight the key role of the choice of materials to guarantee the requirements of the technical feasibility, sustainability and durability in the design of new buildings as well as in the restoration and conservation of the architectural heritage.
