La Ermita de Vera is a popular hermitage dating back to the XV century, located in the middle of the Valencian farmland. It was a place of welcome and cult of great importance for all the farmers who once populated the environs of the city of Valencia. The hermitage was part of a constructive complex consisting of a typical farmhouse and a water mill because the owners, the Dominican friars, had to provide the farmers with these services. The external architectural composition presents different planes corresponding with the independent roofs of the single buildings among which the semicircular dome and the white belfry of baroque lines stand out. Currently, the building corresponding to the water mill hosts the Agricultural Museum of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), after that the Municipality of Valencia (1998) surrendered the property to the UPV for its transformation and reuse. The building preserves its original interior structure and contains a collection of agricultural tools, equipment and materials that instantly transport the visitor to the origins and traditions of the place.
