The paper sheds light on the transmission of the Greek text of the pseudo-Ignatian letters, in particular about the circumstances of its arrival in Italy around the middle of the sixteenth century and about the men who were responsible for its copying and its first circulation. The relationships between the manuscripts are here precisely established and new identifications of copyists are proposed.
