This article aims to illustrate that no representation of the world can be neutral. Each representation will always depend on the Weltanschauung of the person who produces it either in written or in graphic form (on a map). At the same time, we argue that the appropriation, the division, the control and even the representation of space are inextricably linked to the exercise of power. Therefore, the role of geography is to unveil the forms of power that controls all territorial organization. And this role is not limited to political or geopolitical geography, but to geography as a whole.

Abstract
This article aims to illustrate that no representation of the world can be neutral. Each representation will always depend on the Weltanschauung of the person who produces it either in written or in graphic form (on a map). At the same time, we argue that the appropriation, the division, the control and even the representation of space are inextricably linked to the exercise of power. Therefore, the role of geography is to unveil the forms of power that controls all territorial organization. And this role is not limited to political or geopolitical geography, but to geography as a whole.File in questo prodotto:
