The DORIS_Net1 FP7 Project, Downstream Observatory organised by Regions active In Space – Network, ended in January 2013. The main goal of the project was to foster the awareness of GMES Programme (now COPERNICUS) among European Regions, with the support of the network of COPERNICUS Regional Contact Office (RCO). Among the others, a Regional User & Service Inventory publication is pointed out; it showcases the needs of EO services and the services accessible at regional scale. In this Inventory, supply and demand were both classified according to an appropriate taxonomy of COPERNICUS, defined in the framework of GMES4Regions initiative. This paper aims to present the service portfolio and the study on segmentation of the regional demand for EO services in the Regions involved.

In this Inventory, supply and demand were both classified according to an appropriate taxonomy of COPERNICUS, defined in the framework of GMES4Regions initiative.
