Biological control is defined as the reduction of pest populations by natural enemies (virus, bacteria, fungi, etc.). Biopesticides are products containing natural organisms and are viewed as an attractive alternative to chemical pesticides because they attack specific pest targets. To profit by the “virtuous” processes of remediation realised by the microorganisms, in optimal and controlled conditions like the biological processes that they occur in the environment, moderately result of effective, durable and eco-compatible bioremediation can be obtained. Agricultural field, cultural heritage are some of the application field and, at the moment, obtained results are very interesting because of the application of these substances seems a promising alternative to synthetic pesticides.
